چکیده
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a public health problem in developing countries where chronic HBV endemic. The objective of our study was to determine the prevalence KRAS and BRAF mutations patients with HCC. Mutations codons 12 13 V600E mutation gene were searched by HRM on Light Cycler 480 confirmed direct sequencing. A total 34 HCC underwent molecular testing for codon gene. Melting curve analysis showed 23.5% (n=8/34) 41.2% (n=14/34) mean age carriers lower compared carriers. Chronic carriage appeared play role development these mutations, increasing risk 2 (CI(95)=0.55-7.24; p=0.395) 1.78 (CI(95)=0.23-13.5; p=1) KRAS. do not appear tumor metastasis. However, results need be further studies larger sample size. Alterations RAS/RAF/MAP Kinase pathway more prominent HBV-induced This may hinder management receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors, basis treatment advanced

KRAS and BRAF mutations in Iranian colorectal cancer patients: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Background: Mutations in the EGFR signaling pathway play an important role in the development of colorectal cancer (CRC). Mutations in these genes, like KRAS and BRAF, affect the treatment strategies and associated with poor prognosis and relative resistance to anti-EGFR therapies. Our aim was to conduct a systematic and meta-analysis on all studies that have been conducted on the prevalence of...

background kras and braf gene mutations are considered as key events in carcinogenesis progression of colorectal cancer. given the importance of these gene mutations evaluations, especially in metastatic patients, in terms of determination of therapeutic strategies, we studied the prevalence of kras and braf mutations in tabriz city. materials and methods deoxyribonucleic acid (dna) extracted...
متن کاملEGFR, KRAS and BRAF mutations in Chinese patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma
The EGFR-KRAS-BRAF-MEK-ERK (MAPK) pathway plays an important role in most cancers with close association of EGFR, KRAS or BRAF mutations with carcinogenesis and drug resistance. EGFR have been developed for molecular targeted therapy of various cancers. However, it remains to be determined whether aberration of this pathway is essential for the survival of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC...

KRAS and BRAF mutations in serum exosomes from patients with colorectal cancer in a Chinese population
The efficacy of epidermal growth factor receptor- targeted therapy is significantly associated with Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS) and B-raf serine/threonine kinase proto-oncogene (BRAF) mutation in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC), for which the standard gene testing is currently performed using tumor tissue DNA. The aim of the present study was to compare the presence ...
